Acceptable use

Oat publishes to real sites and real channels under your name, so here is what it must not be used for.

Last updated 30 September 2026

In short

  • Nothing unlawful, infringing or harmful.
  • Clone only websites you own or are authorised to use.
  • No spam: newsletters and messages only to people who asked for them.
  • No impersonation, and no AI content passed off as someone's verified words.
  • No scraping, probing or getting around approvals, limits or another workspace's walls.

Oat is a product of Airmeet Inc. AI Labs. It is provided by Airmeet Inc., a Delaware corporation.

1. Content

Do not use Oat to prepare, store, host or publish content that:

  • is unlawful where you are or where it is published, including defamation, threats, harassment, incitement or fraud;
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, including writing or images imported without permission;
  • sexualises minors, promotes self-harm or terrorism, or attacks people for a protected characteristic;
  • contains malware or phishing, or instructions meant to make a model or a person act against someone's interest;
  • is prohibited by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 in India, or by the law of the place where it is shown.

2. Website imports and cloning

  • Clone or import only websites you own or are authorised by their owner to republish, and confirm that honestly when Oat asks.
  • Do not use a clone to pass yourself off as another business, to phish, or to copy a competitor's design, content or brand.
  • Do not use Oat to copy sites that forbid it, or to get around a paywall, a login or a robots rule.

3. Impersonation and deceptive AI content

  • Do not impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or suggest an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
  • Do not present AI-generated text as the verified work or words of a named person who did not review and approve it.
  • Do not present a voice score or a cited source as proof of authorship or of a fact.
  • Do not publish synthetic media that could mislead people about real events, or election or public-health content meant to deceive.
  • Use a face or voice only if you have the right to, with the consent the law and the provider require.

4. Spam and messaging

  • Send newsletters only to people who asked to receive them. Do not upload bought, rented or scraped email lists.
  • Do not post the same content repeatedly to flood a feed, or use Oat for fake engagement, follower schemes or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
  • Do not use Oat's WhatsApp number to send bulk or unsolicited messages, or to message people who have not contacted Oat.
  • Follow the rules of every platform you connect; breaking them through Oat breaks these rules too.

5. Research, scraping and the service itself

  • Use Oat's research to inform your own work, not to harvest personal data about people, build profiles of private individuals, or monitor someone.
  • Do not scrape Oat or this site, access Oat by bots except through features Oat provides, or use Oat or its output to build a competing product or dataset.
  • Do not probe, scan or load-test Oat without our written agreement; write to us and we will arrange it.
  • Do not reverse engineer Oat, except where the law allows it despite this rule.
  • Do not resell access or offer Oat to others under another name.

6. Accounts and access

  • Connect only accounts you are authorised to connect. Do not use credentials that belong to someone else.
  • Do not share your sign-in. Invite people to your workspace with their own roles instead.
  • Do not try to reach another workspace, another member's session, or data you were not granted.
  • Do not get around an approval, a role check, a rate limit, a budget or a platform's review requirement.

7. What happens on a breach

We may remove content, pause publishing or newsletters, disconnect an account, and suspend or end a member or a workspace under the terms. Where we can, we tell you what we found and let you fix it first. Where the law requires, we report to the authorities.

8. Reporting misuse

Report misuse to support@airmeet.com with the subject “Oat abuse”. Copyright and content complaints follow the takedown process; in India you can also write to the Grievance Officer at CGO@airmeet.com.
